Movement SPS was founded by Ahmad El Banhawy, an engineer and development practitioner with 27 years of experience across government, foundations, NGOs and business. It helps organizations in Egypt, the region and beyond turn real needs into fundable projects, strong partnerships and practical systems that make impact last.

Ahmad secured this grant while serving as MYF’s Sustainable Development & Partnership Director. MYF is the grantee. The program supports 400 nurses and technicians. The result is credited to MYF.
See the public announcementAhmad helped shape the proposal and partnership for this Egyptian–Emirati initiative. It trained people for jobs and reached 80,000 participants. This belongs to his earlier ITC career.
Selected work includes proposal support, grant-report training, leadership development and capacity building for organizations and programmes in Egypt and the region.
06About the Founder
Ahmad El Banhawy is an engineer by training and a development practitioner by work. Across 27 years, he has built employment programs, donor proposals, partnerships and teams.
His institutional career includes the Industrial Training Council, Sawiris Foundation and the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation, where he leads sustainable development and partnerships.
His consulting work includes proposal and report writing, grant training, strategic planning and nonprofit advisory across Egypt and the region.

Proposal work connected to youth employment, women’s economic participation and development opportunities for donors including ILO, Plan / USAID, GIZ and a UN Women-led consortium.
Delivered an in-person grant report-writing course for 18 Amideast Egypt staff.
Work included Visit Esna / Takween consulting; Artpreneurs training; a group proposal-writing session for the Upper Egypt Accelerator; Upper Egypt Incubator training on social impact, impact measurement and long-term sustainability; proposal-writing sessions for Gemini South Sudan; and Creative Maker proposal-writing training for different cohorts, including Cairo and Upper Egypt.
Delivered three leadership modules to technical-education leaders from Egypt’s Ministry of Education: Collaborative & Diplomatic Leadership; Strategic Leadership; and Transformational Leadership: Self-Awareness, Emotional Intelligence & Work Ethics. Ahmad also developed the third module’s toolkit and mentored participants on their graduation projects.
